The slam-off went well, tons of people, great energy, and i got to see poets that I hadn't really seen yet. I felt good about how i did, no regrets about my poems. Everyone rocked their shit, and its nights like that where I want to keep our scene growing, writing and learning from each other. I am anxious to start practicing with the team, because

ooooohhhhhhh shelby. you were soooo wonderful. i really miss back when we had Mr. Thornton's class together. i wish i had made better use of that class, and i wish even more that it had lasted longer.
