Maybe it was best he left him. Because he knew he could never make that man happy, and if he tried being with him, it would only bring him more hurt than he ever intended. His open wounds could only heal so many times before they leave scars that would remain with him forever.

( Their lives were just like a constant repetitive jukebox that seemed to be playing the same old records since the 1970s. )
