Yes, it's always comforting to have someone know what you feel <3 *giggle*
Honestly, it is not like there is an evil motive in Leon's teaching...he just has unique ways to make kids learn. Tch, I benefited from his classes when I was a student here~
Just...those kids need to need to stop making him lose it...*mutter* ((thoughts))
You don't have to do what we do if you don't want to. But I don't know. I wouldn't want Powalski as my teacher. Even if he knows what's best for you, he doesn't seem to care much about the animals in his class.
Um, I hope to see you in battle theory, though! Keep up the good work...
Well, it's a class where you learn about animals, and I've been learning about animals from every class I've attended, so it can't be all bad, shi.
Besides, since he has healing food, there's always the possibility that he heals the animals afterward, just like a trip to the pokemon center after a long spree of battles! Either way, I have to have faith in him~! I'm sure he's not doing as much harm as people think!
If that's how you feel, then I guess I can't convince you otherwise, but... the old Philosophy teacher do you really want to hurt those I just don't think anything in the world can justify hurting innocent living things, and nobody has the right to tell you you're supposed to be cruel to somebody else.
It's not a pokemon's place to question her trainer's motives, and the same applies from student to teacher.
At any rate, we hurt "innocent living things" everyday. Sometimes it's the food chain, sometimes it's just a natural ocurrance that you can't avoid.
I'm a pokemon! One of the main ways that we get stronger is by hurting other pokemon - even wild ones that just happen to be there. Most humans get stronger the same way. Physically and mentally.
So I can't ignore the idea that Mr. Powalski's class holds significant merit, and I can't turn on him when he's made an effort to teach me something.
That sort of thinking... just because he's a teacher doesn't mean his word is absolute. It's good to listen to grownups, but it's also good to decide right and wrong on your own, whether you're a Pokemon or a human or... I dunno, a Mr. Saturn.
I... I understand that sometimes violence is inevitable. But... when it's set up like this for no real reason... Zoology is supposed to be about studying animal life, not extinguishing it. What did you learn about animals today?
I'd never seen a "spiteful crow" or a "runaway dog" before. Heck, I'd only seen one "dog" around campus. But not only did I get to learn about them, but I got to see a lot of them at once! Up close and personal! I got to learn what it's like to battle them - I've never battled anything other than a pokemon before. I saw bits and pieces of their behavior - how they react to loud sounds, how the crows make an attack formation to take out the weakest member of an opponent's team. It was really cool!
You can do as you please and no-one is going to stop you. But you're gonna have to put up with hearing what people say about it. That's just life.
For the record, not ALL Teachers are saints, and if you follow anyones word without questioning them, you're gonna wind up making some pretty bad mistakes. Believe me, I know. Keep an open mind, sure... but surely you know the difference between right and wrong without having to be told?
I know you're one of those Pokemon and you gain strength through battle.. that's fine. I know what that's like. But battling out of nessesity is different to battling because you feel you have the right to hurt someone else for the hell of it. Because you DON'T have that right, even if fakers like Powalski make it seem like you do.
Why...why are you making such a simple concept so complicated?
Mr. Powalski hasn't shown any ill intent in any of the classes I've attended.
Alot of teachers like him and get along with him from what I've seen, so he can't be a bad guy.
And he's kept his job as a teacher for years. There has to be a reason for that, right?
So I have to trust that he's doing his best to teach his students. Even if I don't understand his methods, I have to respect him and fulfill my class requirements. I owe him that much.
MY question is how can you possibly see it as a simple concept!? and people call me naive...Ill intent is pretty subjective. If you're a dog getting kicked for no reason by people you don't know because some guy says it's a good idea, you'd consider that ill intent
( ... )
You're trying too hard, and overanalyzing the situation. Maybe you just don't think the same way that pokemon do.
A pokemon has faith that her trainer is looking out for her, even if she doesn't understand her trainer's actions. The trainer and pokemon have to believe in each other and trust each other completely to achieve their goals.
The same applies to students and teachers.
If I don't have faith in my teachers, I will never learn anything, and I'll let them down! I don't understand how you can't see that!
And besides, there's nothing wrong with respecting authority. In fact, I think the lack of respect for teachers in this school is a huge problem.
