Feeling distraught by the latest spat of unfounded and simply fabricated stories that have been slowly appearing in the European gutter press, he feels this is probably the only avenue to get his own personal views on things out in the open with out anyone coming back with a quick, but you signed the terrorists birthday card quip.I’m not sure, who ( Read more... )

I understand where're you're coming from, mate, completely. I don't think the bombing in Madrid has captured the attention of the world as much as 9-11 - here in America, it makes the front pages and all, but it isn't what people are talking about - almost as if they had no feelings on the matter because it's in another goddam country. Being British, I think I feel more connected to the European community than most Americans - they tend to isolate themselves in their ivory towers - as long as they think it doesn't affect them or their lives ( ... )

Recieving emails on his voda phone he texts up a reply.

Thank you Gary,

I'm not really very good at expressing myself and if only one person reads it at least there's another person who simply doesn't believe what the press are attempting to turn me into.

I think you do quite well at expressing yourself, mate, and you know that you count on my support - and Bean's as well! He may be a simple minded git, and often a wanker, but he has a good heart and he means well. *ducks out of reach* Here now, put down that cricket bat........ouch!

Finally after days of which it's seemed he's been unable to smile let alone laugh, a soft chuckle escapes his lips.

Not my line of attack normally, would you have preffered a baseball bat?

Often, as celebrities, we get tagged with more responsibility than the average person. As well as more than our fair share of blame, generally for things we have absolutely no control over. And as ridiculous as that is, we usually end up taking that responsibility to heart. You have no control over what one of your fans do. No more control than one has over a stalker, or a religious extremist. They all do these things for their own twisted and unexplainable reasons. So, please David, do not blame yourself. This is so far beyond anyone's control. And those that can't see that...aren't worth your time to begin with.

Thank you Rose, and I do hope you don't mind me calling you that? I do of course know deep down it's nothing to do with me, but at times it just gets on top of me, wondering if people back home in England believe I could or would stand up for terrorism in any form. If my family are being bothered as I am by the press, I have read in a few articles that they've pestered people I haven't even seen since I was sixteen.

You are without a doubt a wise person, probably wiser than your years, and wiser than most give you credit for.

[ooc: oops sorry keep forgetting logged on in another place :S]

I know we haven't actually talked, but I wanted to express how sorry I am for what you're being foolishly blamed for.

It was a horrible event, and sadly you wound up tied into it by circumstances beyond your control.

I hope everything works out and you can just get back to the life that you CAN control.

With fond wishes,
Jenn Garner

Hope so too and thanks for your kind words, they go along way to convince me that lurking around in the dark is probably now where I wish to be.

Hey David...I know we have't actually talked before, but really, dont worry...cause we're famous we're getting blamed for more things just cause like we're famous and they're like oh blame someone...oh lets blame a famous dude...

Dont blame yourself...you can't do anything about what happened. Look at 9-11...I'm sure people wanted to blame other people for not doing anything...they did and are in a way...

Don't beat yourself up about this. Try to get...happy? Go someplace for a vacation...get your mind off this for a while *smiles*

Call me sometime if you wanna talk HottieEstella

I'm slowly coming to terms with it all, but in the back of your mind when the idea has been placed there you simply just can't no matter how silly you may think it is walk away and forget.

Thank you anyway and I'll do my best to catch up with you when I'm able.

David.

Yea...I know what you mean, just always know you can't change what happened in the past. Look at the many wars that happened...like for instance, the war with Iraq...no one can change a single thing that happened with that, or even 9-11. People in America knew about a threat and what not, yet they can't change it. Always remember you can't change anything...

It'll be fun to catch up...

Stella

You have a very valid point, it's a pity that wars have to happen at all, lets all just hope and pray that there are no more to come.

And it will be, sorry I can't get in touch at the moment, trying to learn Spanish and work out the strategy for the next England match.

Slightly confused pulling on his bottom lip as he reads and re-reads the reply.

Bases ...

Shaking his head slowly.

Like army bases? Why would he ask me that?

Sitting quietly with a thoughtful look on his face, concern threaded through his eyes.

Sascha ... you don't have to worry I've told him myself that nothing is going on, that we are simply friends. I hope he has got the picture. I've informed him I'm taking Rose to the party and ... well we shall see.
