My facebook account has been disabled. Who shall mourn the loss of dbk?
Whether mistaken for a sinister character and eliminated in the name of moral standards, or merely recognized as redundancy, my pseudonym DBK exists one fewer place on the worldwide web.
As much as part of me would like to take to the warpath, another wants to explore the implications of such a move: is this merely foreshadowing the loss of an identity? does dbk exist, or is he just an illusion? do the 41 members of his fan club still love him and, if so, whom do they then love?
Fortunately, the prevailing side is very amused. One can only imagine the momentary brow-furrowing of some obscured administrator, disapproving or more probably disinterested, who made the fateful decision. I'd forgotten about it anyway...
