I started giving Jay his shots a few weeks ago... it's an empowering feeling that I'm making an active contribution to his healthcare. Now I just need a nurse uniform :D I was terrified too the first time (mental images of slipping and gouging arteries and sciatic nerves and confining him to a wheelchair... dramatic I know) but I'm a pro now ;)

haha...that's funny because i actually have a nurse costume (there's a picture of it sometime last fall in my journal) for performance stuff.

when shane started his shots we joked about how i would wear it when we could start doing his injections at home.

Funny this is, is that I lived in SF about 2 years ago and I'll be there from sept 30 to oct 12th for surgery...

I'll actually be staying in Oakland with my friend Jake.

Maybe me you and shane could catch lunch or something?
