you guys aren't my temporary friends, you're the few people i was talking about that i said i hung out with regularly. and i'm not really sad, just like i said, it's the fact that up here you pretty much have to start all over with making new friends. like, nobody here know's as much about me yet as people from back home. i realize that's part of growing up and all that, but it still kinda sucks right now. i really do like it here and i have never said that i hated it here. i really don't, i'm having a great time, but this responsibilities thing coupled with what i was talking about before is just kind of a kick in the teeth. ya know? so yeah, i really do appreciate your friendship and i don't want you to think that i think any differently of you because "you're not my real friends," because you are my real friends and i do enjoy hanging out with you.

you cant drop that class and sign up for a different one?
they let you join classes for like 3 weeks after they start up here, must be different there.
Take the opportunity to start over and make new friends to your advantage, more people to chose from so you can be choosier about who you would like in your life, and you can choose people you have more in common with. It's a clean slate, and your dirty slate will still be at home when you go back , i promise:)
