Summary: Kyuhyun and Donghae both needed a computer expert to revive their laptops.
“Oh by the way, I’m Hyukjae but call me Eunhyuk. I believe you are Donghae?”
“Yes and this is Kyuhyun. Eunhyuk..” Donghae thought for a little while. “Have I seen you anywhere before?”
“Probably.” Eunhyuk smiled and turned to face the dead laptops.
Donghae turned around to look for Kyuhyun but he doesn’t see anybody. “Donghae hyung! Come!” Donghae heard Kyuhyun and went to his room.
“What the..? You had another laptop here?!” Donghae looked at the latter that rolled his eyes.
“That is not important now. That guy outside is..” Donghae cut him off.
“Is good looking. I know that.”
“No!”
“He isn’t? I almost confessed.”
“You what?!”
“Nothing~”
“Listen, that guy outside is Lee Hyukjae and..”
“He said he was Hyukjae just now..”
“HIS BROTHER IS THE FAMOUS SINGER LEE SUNGMIN.” Kyuhyun exploded and blurted everything out.
“His brother is who?”
“Lee Sungmin.”
“The singer?”
“..”
“Should we get his signature? Maybe someday he will become a singer too? Like his brother?”
“..”
“Why are you ignoring me?!” Donghae pouted. Kyuhyun took his PSP and went downstairs where Eunhyuk is.
“Can it be fixed?”
“Don’t worry. I’ll fix this in no time but as for the other one, I need more time.”
“Take your time.” Kyuhyun looked at his almost ready laptop and smirked.
The door bell rang and Donghae ran to the door before Kyuhyun could even get up.
“You are..?” Donghae looked at the person standing outside the apartment.
“I’m looking for my brother”
“Kyuhyun ah! Since when you have a brother?!” Donghae shouted into the house.
“I.. My brother is..”
“Don’t worry I’ll fix that. Come on in.” Donghae smiled. The stranger sighed and went into the house.
“H-hyung!” Eunhyuk stood up while Kyuhyun continued playing his PSP.
“Kyuhyun ah, are you sure you only have a sister?”
“Why are you here hyung?”
“Do you want to ring dad up?” Kyuhyun and the stranger said the same thing at the same time. Kyuhyun turned to the stranger and his jaw dropped.
“Lee.. Lee.. Lee Sungmin?!”
“So that means he is not your brother?” Donghae turned to Sungmin.
“Yes I am Lee Sungmin and Eunhyuk is my brother.”
“Oh..” Donghae looked to the ground.
“Can I take my brother home? Family matters.”
“What about the laptops?” Donghae and Kyuhyun both said in unison.
“He will be back tomorrow.”
“Oh..”
Sungmin smiled and brought Eunhyuk out of the apartment.
“Tell me what just happened?”
“Lee Sungmin came to my apartment?” Donghae sighed.
“I’m actually starting to like that Eunhyuk guy.” Kyuhyun rolled his eyes and gave Donghae a pat and went to his room.
As said, Eunhyuk came back the next day. He showed his gummy smile and went on to fixing the laptops.

“Why would a famous singer call me?”
“Because the famous singer feels bored?”
“I don’t believe you.”
“You have to.”
“And why should I?”
“I like you.”
“That is a very nice joke. I’m hanging up.” Kyuhyun ended the call and looked outside. The sky was dark and full with stars.

Just before Kyuhyun replied, the door bell rang. He heard Donghae shouting to the person outside and he heard “Kyuhyun! Your brother is here again!”
“Donghae, I don’t have a brother!”
“Just get down!”
“Not going to!”
“I’ll go up and get you then!”
“Fine. Stay there. I’ll come down.” Kyuhyun sighed and went down with his PSP.
“Why are you here?”
“I.. missed you?”
“come here. You need to know something.”
“Kyuhyun, don’t. You’ll destroy everything!”
“I can’t keep it in anymore! I’ll let it out and he chooses what he wants.”
“You will get him, his parents, and your parents into trouble.”
“I don’t care anymore! 5 years! 5 LONG years! Do you know how much I wanted to tell him the truth?! 5 years!”
“Tell him.” Kyuhyun was shocked at the reaction Donghae was giving him.
“What?”
“I said, tell him. He has the rights to know and it’s been 5 years. Long enough; painful enough”
Kyuhyun nodded and brought Sungmin to his room.
“Do you remember what happened 5 years ago?”
“5 years? I was.. in a coma and after that I went for the auditions.”
“Coma.. right. Do you know what happened?”
“My parents said I was hit and..”
“And..?”
“I can’t remember..”
“Well then, let me tell you. 5 years we met because our parents became business partners. Both of us were not interested in the business industries so we decided to play outside together whenever they have things to talk about. We would always run to the nearest playground, talk about everything under the sun, eating ice-cream. We would always laugh at nothing, cry together, study together. I’m good at Math while you’re good at Korean language. We both did well in all our tests, exams and such. Later on, we developed feelings for each other and we went out.” Kyuhyun paused and turn to Sungmin who was almost crying.
“Remembered anything?” Sungmin nodded his head but didn’t say anything. Kyuhyun sighed and continued.
“We hung out everyday and we would see each other alternately at our places. Everything was perfect and I thought that this happiness would last forever but, I’m wrong. A few months later your parents said your whole family is going to migrate. We both cried and decided later that we should have fun together. We were brought to the theme park by our parents saying they would be back at night meanwhile we can play freely. We smiled to them as they drove off. We too, took off to somewhere else. Neither of us enjoyed the theme park so we walked to the playground we used to play, talk, laugh, and cry. We bought ice-cream and sat down. Everything felt the same. Everything was so fun until someone he..” Kyuhyun tried to hold back his tears.
“He.. he was drunk and... misunderstood you for.. the person that took his daughter away. He came charging at us with a knife. You.. you knowing martial arts, pushed me away and tried to fight him. I tried to stand but your force was much stronger. You pushed me down while that lunatic hit you from behind. We both didn’t expect him to have another knife. It went into your stomach and blood was flowing out. He looked at you and laughed, seconds later he collapsed on the ground. I held onto you, you were cold. Freezing cold. I didn’t know what to do so I called the ambulance but I didn’t call our parents. Before we reached the hospital, you are already in and out of coma, I was really worried. They said.. the chances of you living is slim. The crying of everyone haunts me, the scene haunts me everyday.” Kyuhyun was sure he was crying but he doesn’t bother, he wants to let Sungmin know the truth.
“I wasn’t allowed to visit you at all and few weeks later, I was told you recovered and is studying abroad. And months later I saw someone on screen. It was you, being a singer. I was so happy that you are happy and living well. I thought I could keep this until the end but it seems I can’t. I controlled myself for years, I didn’t visit you. If Eunhyuk didn’t appear few days ago and reminded me of you, I would really keep this until I die.”
“Donghae knows about this?”
“Yes. Donghae hyung and I met in school. He was your fanboy, he tells me everything about you, he reminded me that you are you. I eventually told him the story; he was shocked and comforted me nonetheless.”
“5 years.. it’s been 5 years and nobody told me anything!” Sungmin was crying, he was shouting, being agitated. Kyuhyun held Sungmin down and hugged the latter.
“It’s been 5 years, we’ve not talked for 5 whole years.” Kyuhyun sighed.
There was an awakward silence until Donghae shouted from downstairs again. “Kyuhyun ah! Your laptop is fixed! Mine’s dead! For real! Get down, now! Before I go up and pull you down!”
“I’m surprised his voice didn’t crack.” They both chuckled at Kyuhyun’s comment. Kyuhyun took Sungmin’s hand and went down to look for Donghae.
“I.. like you.” They heard Eunhyuk.
“You wha-“ There was silence in the living room. Sungmin looked at Kyuhyun curiously and they both peaked out. They smiled and did the same. They parted later on for air.
2 years later
“Kyu~~”
“Fine, let’s make a deal then.”
“What kind of deal?”
“You teach me how to sing and I’ll teach you how to play the piano.”
“It sounds hard..”
“You can play the guitar so why need the piano?”
“I want to learn something so we can play it together! We can’t play the guitar together..” Sungmin mumbled and gave a pout which in return, he got pinched by Kyuhyun on the cheeks.
Kyuhyun ended up teaching Sungmin the piano and he received vocal lessons from Sungmin. Kyuhyun now prays this happiness would not slip away from him again.
