Sungmin’s POV
Ryeowook.. I wish you are still here with me. I miss you so much. I’m sorry, I really am.
Kyuhyun pulled me from his room back to my house. We have been friends since young and we live only next to each other. We use to jump over to fence to find each other but my parents decided that I’m a girl so I should not jump around too much and they arrange someone to build a passage way. It became more convenient for us to see each other. Nothing changed until two years ago, I met Ryeowook. I told Kyuhyun everything about Ryeowook but I’ve not properly introduced them to each other. Kyuhyun knows everything about me; he thinks I’m like a open book.
“You’re back?”
“unnie..”
“So you are willing to talk now?”
“mmhm.”
“Sungmin ah, ..” I cut her off by giving him a hug and went to my room to gather my things.
The room of mine is in a huge mess. Books were everywhere and my clothes were scattered around the room.
“You ready?” Kyuhyun came in the room.
Kyuhyun’s POV
I got tired of waiting for Sungmin so I went up to get her instead. She was looking around the room as if it is her first time in that particular room. Her room is really messy and she didn’t bother. I knocked on the door and went in. I regret the moment I step into the room. I hate it when I have to see her cry because whenever she cries, I can’t do anything to help her. She was sobbing and hugging her legs closer to her. I went beside her and sat down.
“I miss him.. badly.” She said between sobs.
“I’m sure he would want you to move on.” Ryeowook, I hope you don’t blame me for saying that but I’m quite sure you do want her to move on.
“No.”
“Sungmin ah,”
“You should go to school now or else you would be late.”
“I’m not leaving without you.” I’m okay with not studying for a day.
I looked at her but she continued to sob and finally after awhile she stopped. She let out a heavy sigh and took her bag and headed for the door. I followed behind her as if she would get lost if I’m not with her.
Third person’s POV
The both of them arrived late for school and got punished. Kyuhyun was given the task to clear the junks in the spare classroom and the old music room while Sungmin has to help the teacher to carry books around. Everything didn’t last for long as the school doesn’t want the both of them to skip lessons.
They were called back to the discipline master’s office and they got scolded again before being sent back to their classroom. They both have been sitting beside each other since the first day they entered the school. From young, they would sit beside each other. Nobody knows why and nobody tried separating them either.
They have never thought of leaving each other. Even if they each have lovers, they would still stick to each other which make their lovers angry, jealous and sad at the same time. Kyuhyun can easily detect if someone is sad, angry, really happy, disappointed and more. Sungmin hates Kyuhyun for this. Each time she wants to run somewhere to cry, to hide away from everybody, Kyuhyun would always know. Even if she assured him a smile, he would not believe and would sit with her until she feels better.
Sungmin’s POV
Should I tell him before I go or should I just ask someone to pass a letter it to him? I should tell him, since he is my best friend. I’ll just send him an offline message.

I need to take a break from this country. I’ll leave school to you, I’m sure you’ll do fine. I’m sorry that you will find everything out this way. You... are the best person I’ve met. Thank you for standing up for me for years. Now I’m not longer that small girl. I’ll come back showing you a different side of me. I’ll be better and definitely more mature, unlike you (:

Thank you for being there for me every time I needed someone. And that is also what I hate about you, you read me too easily. It is as if I am your book. Ugh. I’m tearing up and I don’t even know why. Anyway, Kyuhyun ah, you know? That girl that confessed to you, she’s good. Why not choose her? You will definitely need someone to wake you up in the morning. I’m leaving. I might not come back. I’m bringing along our friendship and I’ll never forget those times. If you are going to forget about me, us, you’re dead.

I looked at my room once more and went over to my luggage. I took it and closed my room door. I suppose it would not be opened for the next few years.
