Jaejoong and Junsu are the last two expected to lapse into silence after all their time as coworkers ends. They are the two that truly never leave each other until their new contracts finally force them to part and even then, the line stretching between them stands strong, a bond to outlast them all.
They cling to each other through hiatuses and preparations, anchoring themselves against the rock of the other while they build new images, new names.
Remind each other of themselves and each other.
They cite each other’s names as first in thank you’s and do their best to send their love through those four- or three, it depends on old formalities- syllables as they get to see each other less.
Their connection grows and stretches and never fades.
Years later, when there is a sea separating them and they can hardly find the time to talk between their own endeavors, Junsu will call Jaejoong or Jaejoong Junsu and they will sing to each other in languages half made-up and half reminiscent of their pasts before going to bed.
To help each other remember the language that ties them so together- the music that that connects their souls.
