My Saturday
Today's date is October 24, 2009. This morning I woke up @ 6 A.M so i could be ready at 7 when my friend picked me up to take my ACT test at TC and we could grab something to eat on the way. by the time we got to the college, it was about 7:40 ish and Brooke was being such a funny whiny baby.She was like, "I don't want to take the test, it's too early in the morning, if someone wasn't relying on her (me), she would've not even gone, etc. I was just laughing my head off as she said all those things. For some reason, she parked her car but it wasn't in the middle of the space, it was all the way to the line so if the next person open their door and didn't watch out, her car would've been scratched. We were still in the car when someone did park next to her. The guy got out and she was just glaring at him to see if he hit her car with his door. He didn't but he was close to it b/c her car was parked almost to the line. He walked away from his car and then she stared after him and call him a bitch. I didn't know that she parked her car all the way to the line until I got out and walked away from the car and saw that on the driver's side, there was a lot of space. Just imagine that. Then we went to our testing rooms. On the first section of the test, I finished before it was time but all the others, at the last answer columns, I just filled in the bubbles randomly. Yeah, I need to work on my timing and actually use my ACT studying guide thing. Around 12, we were dismissed and I was so happy. Then I stood outside to wait for my parents to pick me up so I could go with them to look at houses in Greenville. 2 hours later, we arrived but first we went to East Rock Buffet to pick up Lillian to go with us since she lived there and knew a lot about houses. So we went and met the real estate agent at this house. The house we saw 1st was a 2 story, 2 baths, and it was a bright house, By bright I mean it was bright because of the windows and not like dark even when it's sunny type of house. My parents kinda liked it but it would need some work. Then we went to see the 3-4 more houses and there was 1 house and OMG, it was just plain creepy. We went inside and it was smelly because no one had lived there for a while and everything was wood. It was dark and the design was creepy. The bathroom was pretty creepy too since it didn't have any light even though it was such a sunny day. As we walked around it, the vibe didn't feel good at all. it had white carpet but in all of the rooms with carpet, there were huges stains all over it. We left the house saying that it was like one of those houses in horror films. We left pretty quickly. We saw some more houses but they were getting worse and worse, cracks in the foundation, After that, we went back to EGB to eat. I ate 2 plates of hot food, 1 bowl of fruits, 2 white godiva chocos, and 1 cup of ice cream but it wasn't all in 1 sitting, We got back there at 4:30 and hanged around until 8 ish to wait to see my bro to talk about the house. All the food that I ate happened in 3 hours. After that, we left greenville to go back home. I guess today was a pretty good day. For the past few days, I'm very thankful for the love of my family. The fact that they care and look out for me is just great and I need to appreciate that more because there are so many people who screw up their lives because they lack that. I love them so much.
