WHEN I WAS YOURS...
Yunho is wandering alone in the busy street like a corpse, he finally knows that love doesn’t always ended with a happy ending. The man that he loved proves it already and he saw with his own eyes both of them had sex with each other.
He doesn’t know what was going on, what was so looking so wrong in their relationship, he never had loved someone like he loved that man. He knows he shouldn’t calls Changmin yesterday.
He shouldn’t listen to his heart and visit Changmin’s apartment this morning. He was shocked when he first opens the apartment using his duplicate key, the living room was in messed, DVD cases and wine bottle was around on the floor.
The moaning sounds coming from the bedroom was making him stumble forward a bit. He knows from that moment there was no Yunho and Changmin, it will be Yunho only. His step was heavy, still he moves and take steps carefully hoping that what he was listen wasn’t true.
The moment he stands in front of his boyfriend’s bedroom, he was hurting at the sight where his boyfriend was fucking with another woman. ‘Is this our ends, Changminnie?, there will be no us anymore till forever?’
Realizing someone was watching, Changmin stops and looks at the door and he realizes he was truly fucked up. ‘Yunnie…’ His silent voice comes out but he still inside the woman that was writhing below him.
“What’s wrong, honey?” The small woman below him said.
“I’m sorry…” Yunho said, he turns on his back and walks to the exit door. He wasn’t able to face it anymore. They may be on the boyfriends phase but they had been coupled for five years since they were in university.
Changmin fumble around and slip out from his sex mate earning a soft moaning from the woman. “Yunho ah, wait up!” He takes his boxer and slip in the short pant he wore before together and runs following Yunho.
Yunho still stands in front of the elevator while deep inside he was hoping for the elevator to be faster. Changmin earning a few glares from his neighbor for being half naked in the hallway, he doesn’t care about it. “Please hear me first.”
Yunho stands there, “Speak out” The simple reply was hard to be heard, Yunho was resisting his anger and sadness. He never thought that Changmin would betray him like that. Changmin was the one who makes him promise not to go fucking around other people and they supposedly belong to each other.
“I know I was wrong but please give me one more chance. She was nobody to me and I don’t love her like I love you. She just someone I picked up on the street, I don’t even know her name.” Changmin was begging while explaining on the floor but Yunho stands still in front of him like nothing happen.
“It’s okay…”
“Really, I love you, Yunho ah.” Changmin cut off Yunho’s words and grabs Yunho inside his arm but the other just push him away and smile sadly.
“I know this is not the first time you cheating on me, Minnie. You go fucking around beside men and women, what do you think, I don’t know any of that?. You wrong! I choose to ignore it and I thought that maybe nearing the wedding you will change but it didn’t happen. I guess this is our end, I can’t stand it anymore. Goodbye…” Yunho said, he wasn’t that strong, after all this time he had enough. He hates when he sees Changmin goes inside the clubs and hooking with someone then bringing them to the hotel.
The elevator door opens, Yunho steps in and leaving the half-naked man in front of the elevator alone. “I hope one day, you will find someone better than me.”
And now Yunho was broken heart, they would be married in two months more and now he needs to cancel all the preparations made. He fished out his phone to call his best friend also the wedding planner for his wedding.
After a few ringing, “Junsu ah, cancel all the preparations and I’m serious about this. I will be out of the town for a few days, don’t find me. I will be fine.” He ended the call without waiting for Junsu to say anything.
And now he was wandering alone without knowing where he really wants to go. He bumped into a few people, doesn’t even mind about apologizing he just ignore them when they got angry at him.
Finally he realizes he was standing in front of his apartment, he walks into the room and make himself comfortable on the soft green duvet cover. Without he noticed he already fall asleep on the bed.
Two months pass, Yunho still doing his usual task, wake up in the morning, go to work and back for a sleep at night. Changmin still pleading for him and ask for another chance, if only Changmin didn’t act like that, they would have been married by now.
“Yunho sshi, there was a woman looking for you at the lobby area.” Seohyun, Yunho’s officemate said.
Yunho was just a normal salary man working with the government. The city development section still in silent like usually it does. Yunho was glad that his relationship was a secret and he doesn’t manage to give the invitation to his wedding to his office mate.
He walks to the lobby with a heavy step since he hates someone disturbing his office hour especially if it was related to personal matters. Take a look at his guest, he notices that young woman immediately.
“I’m busy, could you wait for a bit. There was a café in front of this building. I will be there during lunch.” Yunho walks back to his office without waiting for the young woman to speak even a bit.
He then continues his work back and knowing it almost lunch hour, he cleans his table, rearrange it to look neater. Taking the elevator down to the floor, he was silently hoping that nothing bad going to happen.
The café was cozy and warm filled with being at home feeling, Yunho walks in stepping slowly while searching for that face. He finally stands in front of the woman that was sitting hidden in the corner.
“Is there anything important that you need to see me?” Yunho said without sitting first. He doesn’t want that matter to be long.
“Yunho sshi, I’m Victoria. Please take a seat first…”
Yunho sighed as he knows that young woman was going to talk about something that he really wants to forget. “Look, if this was related to Changmin shhi, just forget it. I don’t relate to him again and never, ever going to keep in touch with him again.”
“I know… but Changmin had ignored me and he always keeps talking about you, please break up with him properly. I… I want him please.”
Yunho sighed for a second time and inside his heart he was regret for choosing to see this woman. He pitied her, he told Changmin they are broken up already but Changmin can’t accept that. It’s not like he still with Changmin anymore.
“Victoria shhi… I’m sorry, it’s not like I don’t want to help you but like I said before Changmin and I wasn’t in a relationship anymore. So please don’t disturb me.” YunHo stands as a cue to leave the woman.
“YunHo shhi, I’m pregnant with his child… Please, help me.” That woman was begging towards him while holding onto his hand. He feels sympathy for that woman, if only ChangMin stops behaving like that and stay with one person. He thought that he could stop ChangMin for behaving like that in the past but he can’t do it.
“Please stop begging. I will try to talk with him and please don’t misunderstand, my feeling for him disappear when he did it at that time. Please take care of yourself and your baby too. I wish all happiness for you. Goodbye.” YunHo said as he releases his arm from Victoria’s hand and walk away from that woman.
YunHo was hoping that he wouldn’t be trapped in between of them anymore, in the past he would believe everything ChangMin had said but now, he just don’t really know that ChangMin. He doesn’t want to encounter with that woman again because of ChangMin, he wants to forget about the past and move on.
YunHo then typing a message on his smart phone and not less than two minutes he got a reply. ‘I will end this. God, please give me more strength.’
“Sorry, I’m late.” ChangMin said as he run towards YunHo.
“It’s okay, I just want to tell you that I want this relationship to be over. There’s nothing more for us. I want you to understand that and please after this leave me alone.” YunHo said calmly as if ChangMin really had been forgotten by him, which is true he did feel nothing for ChangMin now.
“NO WAY! I DON’T AGREE!!.” He really did regret for cheating behind YunHo but to let that man go, he wasn’t ready.
“Please ChangMin ah. Let me go, I believe you will find your happiness with her. She loves you more than I do and after all she’s pregnant with your child. I don’t want you to push her and your child aside. We can’t be together, you had her and I had someone more important that needs my care.” He was right when he chooses to have a talk with ChangMin at the park where nobody was present since it's almost afternoon.
“Is it that girly boy that I have met before?” ChangMin asked remembering a teenage around 20’s a few years younger than him was smiling and talking around YunHo with a little baby around 2 years old.
YunHo sighed, that's how ChangMin was thinking about him after all this time. “Not him, it's my nephew. I bet you never knew that I had a nephew, right? Don’t you see that we don’t really know each other even we had known each other for almost 6 years? The time you saw my nephew and JaeJoong it was a few days after my sister, MoonBin’s mother died. You don’t even know that I had a sister right?” YunHo’s face was full with disappointment, knowing that ChangMin never even thought about his family.
“What am I to you, a sex buddy? Or merely a close friend that fucking each other?” YunHo never thought that one day he was really saying that words to ChangMin but now he knows he needs to say it or else ChangMin will never know what really inside his mind.
ChangMin silent, what YunHo had said was true. He never knew about YunHo family even they are going to be married before this. He was wrong when he betrays YunHo trust. He shouldn’t let his lust dominate him. He takes a look at YunHo’s face and he knows the decision YunHo talk wasn’t made in a rush, it was made long time ago maybe for the first time YunHo catch him cheating behind his back.
‘It’s time for me to really let him go… I hurt him more than I should when in the first place I should never hurt him.’ ChangMin holds his head trying to erase the pain coming. “If that’s what you really want then… we break up.”
“Thank you for understanding me…” YunHo stands up and walks away from that man and this time ChangMin never stops him again like he asked. He walks away from ChangMin’s life and he hopes it will be forever.
ChangMin will never know how sad he was at that time. He will never let ChangMin see his tears. YunHo didn’t even bother to look back to see ChangMin’s reaction knowing that there will always be someone that was waiting for him and care for him and his nephew, someone that is going to be his future, he knows it.
ChangMin really did lose YunHo this time and till forever, ChangMin closes his eyes hoping that he could turn back the time at a time like this. It's still his fault, he has never been beside YunHo at the times where that man needs someone. He was the one that pushes YunHo slowly from his life, he never listens to YunHo story and getting to know YunHo’s family.
Not far from the place ChangMin meets YunHo, he saw someone so familiar smiling to him. Someone that hope for him to be by her side from that time till forever. He was doing so many wrong things in his life but this was the one that really makes him regret.
ChangMin sits near the big windows at the café, seeing the people walking on the pavement outside the café while he was sitting there, enjoying his coffee latte. He opens his iPad and start typing something on it. If before he was busy with business travel now he just wants to have some time for himself.
While he busy typing on the iPad, a boy suddenly falls near to his seat. He was startled at first but he still helps the boy to get up. “Are you okay, boy?” ChangMin checks if there was any injury to the boy that wearing a white shirt, black jacket with khaki short pant.
“Binnie, tell sorry to that hyung…” A soothing voice calls for the boy making ChangMin shocked more.
“I’m sorry, hyung.” The boy was smiling after that.
He wasn’t mistaken it was the same person, that boy must be the nephew. After all it’s been 5 years since he last meets YunHo. ChangMin can see from there YunHo was waiting outside when the little boy and the black hair man walking together towards YunHo.
ChangMin can see a smile appears on YunHo’s face when the black hair man leans forwards and kiss YunHo’s cheek. ‘So… you are happy with him now… I will always remember our memory and I hope you will always smiling beside him, YunHo ah.’
ChangMin knows that black hair man was JaeJoong from the time he was helping MoonBin but he was too surprised to introduce himself and furthermore he doesn’t have anything to say to that man. He can see MoonBin was talking to YunHo about himself as he can see MoonBin’s hand directly pointed to him, the surprised in YunHo’s eyes doesn’t make him startled this time instead he just smiles, hoping for the best for his ex.
“Appa, what are you looking at?”
ChangMin looks at his side, his daughter was smiling to him with sundae ice cream cup on her hand. “Nothing, baby ah… Where’s your Umma?” He pulls her 4 years old daughter into his lap as he closes his iPad.
“Umma was going to toilet…. There’s Umma…” MinJi said to her father as soon as she saw her mother walking towards them.
Victoria was smiling to her husband and daughter. “Can we go home now?”
ChangMin smile taking his daughter and carry her on his arm. ‘Before this I was too dumb and too young to realize how precious you were when you are beside me, YunHo ah. The moment you walked away from me I realized, my mistake was unforgivable and yet you forgive me. Even that time I regret for following your request to break up but I’m glad today I was happy for letting you go.’
A/N: This is my first trial to write HoMin... well since my bias was YunJae, it was a bit hard to write this. Unnie.. I hope you forgive me for my lateness and everything. This is for you unnie.
