Summary: JaeJoong was the prankster, while YunHo was trying to propose to JaeJoong.
JUNG GOT PRANK!!
It's been a few months had passed since YunHo and JaeJoong knows each other. YunHo knows he is already falling in love with JaeJoong, and he feels glad that he manages to confess at the younger man without much problem especially from JaeJoong's band mates. Tonight, he decides to take their relationship to a new step and makes the younger as him.
YunHo waits for JaeJoong patiently as the younger just finish his rehearsal for the next concert. HyunJoong smiles amusingly looking at YunHo that was sitting patiently on the sofa in their living room. ‘These two love birds, really makes my day. Even I’m just looking at them.’
"YunHo sshi, I was curious since you are wearing something really formal like this. Is there anything I can expect to hear from Jae after this dinner, tonight?" YooChun said even HyunJoong was eyeing him for asking something like that. He feels weird since YunHo usually wear something casual like tshirt and jean with a jacket and sneakers but that night YunHo appearance really makes him wonder since the model was wearing a black coat together with black pant and a loafer.
"Please drop the formality, since I was planning to propose to Jae tonight." YunHo never feels like a stranger when he was in between JaeJoong's band mates. They never treat him like one but they never drop the formality too, and now he really wants them to do that.
"I'm sorry, YunHo hyung." YooChun laughed but then he stops. "Wait! Did you say you are going to propose?" He said a bit loud but then the other members that were sitting there manage to silence him.
The whole Hero members that are sitting with YunHo in the living room were silent. It was shocking news for them too. Since they know even YunHo and JaeJoong was officially in front of them but none of their fans ever suspect that the two was dating. It was near to impossible for their fans to know since they always out with some other friends too.
"Let's go, YunHo ah." JaeJoong walks to the living room with all eyes was eyeing him clearly, every step he take the notice their eyes were following him. He walks as he pretends he didn't hear anything YooChun question. ‘Stupid, Chunnie. I can hear your voice from my room.’
"Wow, beautiful..." MinWoo somehow manage to say it.
JaeJoong heard it but he decides to let it go as he remembers the talk between YunHo and his band mates earlier. "What are you waiting for, I'm hungry. Let's go."
YunHo nooded, his eyes still on JaeJoong figure. YunHo walks pass others to reach JaeJoong that already walking to the front door.
"Good luck, hyung!" All the four JaeJoong's band mates said unison, wishing for YunHo to succeed in proposing to JaeJoong. The pissed off look on JaeJoong’s face when MinWoo calls him beautiful gone after he heard his band mates wishes for YunHo.
The girl wearing a black skirt and white shirt leads the couple to the table been reserved by YunHo. She smiles to the couple as they reach their table. She hurried to the kitchen to inform the manager about the couple arrives.
JaeJoong can see the large glass window beside their table from inside, he can see all the colourful light decorating the whole Seoul city. They are currently at the highest hotel building in Seoul. They sit silently as JaeJoong still doesn't know what to talk to YunHo. He can feel the awkwardness between them.
The restaurant was empty that day, JaeJoong knows what was YunHo planning and he too was planning something after heard that YunHo going to propose to him. It just the matter of time he will execute it.
YunHo just can’t take his eyes off JaeJoong even the younger was wearing a simple black coat with a red shirt underneath. JaeJoong looks too beautiful that night and he was sure about the proposal he’s going to say later in front of JaeJoong.
“Why are you looking at me like that?” JaeJoong asked as he notices the brown almond eyes was gaze at him like he was wearing inside out shirt or something.
YunHo smile, “Nothing. You just too beautiful tonight...” The truth inside his mind was more than what he had said. ‘You’re breathtaking, I would do anything just to had you.’
Even they know each other not even nearly a year but for YunHo, the decision he take was based on their first meeting at the supermarket. That Kim JaeJoong was the one he loves.
They eat silently after the foods been serves, YunHo starts to feel nervous as he can’t even eat properly.
“YunHo ah, last night I had a dream…”
“What dream?”
“I'm being proposed.”
YunHo chocked his food, silently praying that JaeJoong just telling about his dream. “Re...really? That was a nice dream.”
“If someone proposes to me, surely I would accept it.”
That word makes YunHo chocked for a second time, his nervousness was can be read from his face. He couldn’t say anything to JaeJoong.
“Are you okay, is the food was bad? You choked a few times already.” JaeJoong said, he really was worried about YunHo but he still wants to continue teasing the other.
“I'm fine. No worries, I just need to slice the meat smaller.”
The dinner that night ended awkwardly. YunHo sends JaeJoong to his apartment. The car stops at the parking lots, before JaeJoong manage to get out from the car, YunHo stops him.
“Jae, I know I should ask you earlier while we eating at the hotel but I guess I can’t be as romantic as I am in the movie or drama. I just a normal guy and I know it’s going to be awkward if I ask you during the dinner. I want to be love and fall in love with you is really the best thing ever happen to me.”
“Wait a minute...” JaeJoong stops YunHo from saying anything. He really was registering what the handsome guy said to him. “Are you proposing to me?” Without he realize he said that.
“Would you be my other half though this lifetime and forever?” YunHo said as he want JaeJoong to know that he was serious about their relationship.
“I... I’m just kidding about the proposal, I didn’t mean for you to do it...”
YunHo then realizes that JaeJoong didn’t answer his proposal, he just knows that JaeJoong wouldn’t be his. "I... I ac... actually I was planning to propose to you at the hotel where we eat, you know... my father used to propose to my mother at the same table we eat before." YunHo pulls out an exclusive black heart shape box from his pocket, he holds onto JaeJoong hand. "And this... this ring I want you to keep it. If I still had it, I don’t know what I’m going to do with it plus I really want it to be yours. At least you can decide what are you going to do with, it’s yours even if you want to throw it away, there’s nothing I can do."
JaeJoong just silent looking at the box in his hand. "I didn’t say about going to reject your proposal..."
YunHo shocked, just for that day JaeJoong really shocked him.
"I’m sorry, actually... I know you are going to propose to me. I heard it when you were talking to YooChun and others before."
That really makes YunHo shocked for another time. If he had a weak heart surely JaeJoong just send him to heaven. ‘Wait a second... does that mean he was pranking me?’
JaeJoong just silent looking at the confused newbie actor in front of him.
"Are you pranking me?"
JaeJoong nodded his head.
"I think it’s better for you to leave, I’m sure YooChun and others would be worried."
"YunHo..."
"Please... let me be alone." He did feel disappointed with JaeJoong for pranking his proposal, he just can’t look at his beloved face at the time.
JaeJoong pout as he opens the car door and get out of the car. He can see how disappointed YunHo was. ‘It’s really my fault, pranking him like that.’ He walks to the elevator as YunHo leaves without seeing him off or even say anything. The car was speeding after dropping JaeJoong in front of his dorm.
A few days later.
JaeJoong finally set his mind to go and see YunHo after he didn’t get any message or even a single call from that man. His band mates too clearly was boycotting him for his act pranking YunHo like that.
‘Just apologize, acknowledge your mistake, and sort things out properly. It’s not like he can kill a person who’s apologizing to him. And Jae, remember he really needs to know. You have to open your heart up at least to the person who’s really in love with you so that that emotional wounds can be heal.’ With the words that that YooChun said, he walks to the apartment that belongs to YunHo.
He rang the doorbell a few times, waiting for the door to be open but when the door was opens the other just slammed the door on his face clearly still in an angry state. “YunHo... I’m sorry...”
JaeJoong did regret, since YunHo was serious about the proposal, it was him that playing around. It’s not that he really meant to do it but he’s afraid of commitment, because of his past. “I’m sorry...” He just slide down to his knees in front of YunHo’s apartment door.
“Jae hyung was there...” YooChun asked YunHo on the phone since he was worried. It's almost night and JaeJoong still not home. His other bandmates just looking at him.
“Hyung, I don’t want to butt in your both personal but why don’t you ask him yourself. He does love pranking people but it was never to this extent, I meant he don’t usually make a serious matter as a joke.” YooChun tried to soft talk with YunHo although he knows the real reason but he wants JaeJoong to open himself to YunHo more.
YooChun can sense from the way YunHo talks to him, that man really loves JaeJoong, YunHo was protective over JaeJoong and he sure he was the right one. “Okay, hyung.”
YooChun hang up the call and looks at his bandmates.
“I thought he didn't care about that.” HyunJoong said to others.
“No wonder, he goes out so early.” LeeU added.
“He does care, he just shows us his poker face. Can’t you see he pout and pretended to sulk every time he scroll his phone when the call or message comes in.” MinWoo said. Without the other notice he was oftenly observed the vocalist specially when his phone was ringing.
They when silent since MinWoo usually wasn't an observer but to notice something like that it must be too obvious. “Let’s hope they will be fine soon.”
YunHo just silent seeing JaeJoong was bended on his knees like that for hours already, “I don’t want any excuse just told me the reason why you pranking my proposal?”
“I’m not ready... but a week without your call and message, I know I was mistaken.”
“That’s an excuse, Jae... It’s not something that I want to hear.” YunHo turns around as he can see that JaeJoong still be stubborn and not giving up by telling him the real reason.
“Wait!”JaeJoong manage to hold on YunHo’s hand. “Then can I go inside, my legs are numb already. I will tell you, I promise.” He pouted cutely try to make YunHo can't resist him.
YunHo turn and see the begging eyes and pout that cold down his angriness. He nodded and opens the door for JaeJoong to enter.
“I’m think I got cramp...” JaeJoong said as he tried to get up from his position.
YunHo sighed, he helps JaeJoong get up but the cramp on JaeJoong leg only makes him fall back. YunHo gets JaeJoong on his arm, bringing JaeJoong in his arm making JaeJoong blushing more and more.
“What are doing hyung?” YooChun ask his best friend, noticing the other was busy typing something on the Apple iMac.
“Preparing a made up event for Yunnie…”
YooChun smile, never though that the cold Kim JaeJoong actually saying something like that. The couple was already made up back, he was one of the happiest people hearing about that.
“You want my help?” YooChun asked, he actually wants to know what event JaeJoong prepare for YunHo.
“I would love if you could play the acoustic guitar for me…”
“Are you forgot, hyung… I was the one that replacing LeeU when he broke his arm before the concert.”
Recalling that time, it was true that YooChun was playing as the bass guitarist replacing the injured members. “It was going to be 200th day in two weeks, I hope I can manage to do it.”
“Do you have the event already theme?”
JaeJoong just silent, “I’m still not sure actually about the event yet.”
YooChun just sighed as he calls for their bandmates to gather in the living room, he just can’t wait to tell them his idea.
After finishing their photoshoot, the Hero band members getting ready for the next mission that they prepared. YooChun was lucky that YunHo agree to follow them to Jeju Island without many questions.
Around six in the evening, YooChun makes sure everything was according to his plan. His bandmates was practicing with their part while JaeJoong was making sure that YunHo will come to the dinner with him.
JaeJoong walks in the candle path that was leading him and YunHo to their table. The wooden balcony was decorated with hurricane lamp, hanging on the nearest tree beside their table. They were surrounded by the sea as the scenery in front of them, the sky almost dark as the sun already down to the sea horizon. The sunset as the background creating the most beautiful scenery for the event.
The decoration may be simple but they were satisfied with the short time they had to prepare for it. MinWoo and HyunJoong act as the waiter, serving all the food from starter to the main dish and dessert. A simple indie music can be heard as the background accompanying their evening.
“Is there something special today, Jae ah?” YunHo asked while enjoying the strawberry dessert layers pie.
“Happy 200th day, Yun ah.” Suddenly JaeJoong stands up as YooChun appears beside JaeJoong with a guitar. YooChun start playing the guitar, string after string and the beautiful melody was created.
I waited for such a long time for today
I hoped that you would be mine
Should I officially propose or throw a surprise birthday party?
The rub dub rub dub, the heart pounding day is today
Should I rent out a pretty cafe or do it front of many people at City Hall?

YunHo was smiling over the lyrics that JaeJoong changes but he glads that JaeJoong sing it towards him.
JaeJoong hold out his hand in front of YunHo, he was hoping that YunHo will hold his hand like he usually does. “I’m sorry before this for not trusting you with my bad, but this time, this chance I create again, be my husband?”
YunHo take the hand as he notices that JaeJoong was wearing the ring that he gives and there another ring on JaeJoong hold. “I never though that I would get a proposal song from you, I’m still surprised actually but if I had to answer it, it would be… I want to spend my life with you so be my husband too…” YunHo said as he takes the ring from JaeJoong hand and wear it to his ring finger. It fixes perfectly though JaeJoong never ask him anything about the ring size. He was pretty sure the ring was a designer ring since the design was very unique.
“Congratulations hyung!!!” LeeU appear with a digital video camera in his hand.
“Shut up, LeeU ah. You just ruined the romantic moment.” HyunJoong said.
“Sorry…” He said though he still recording the event. “Can I have a kiss moment?” LeeU added.
JaeJoong was blushing really hard but nevertheless, he just pulls YunHo facing him while pressing his lip onto YunHo's lip. He just proves to his band mates and YunHo that he was ready to marry YunHo.
“So when the wedding will be held?” YooChun asked to the couple trying to break the silence after JaeJoong initially to kiss YunHo.
“It was supposed in two months but since JaeJoong just ruin the proposal I made to him, I need to reschedule it back and my parent’s schedule too.” YunHo said as he already ready to take the next step in his life by spending is life with JaeJoong.
“I hope it will not taking too much time since we going to be busy with overseas concert in few moths.” MinWoo remind them, as he also can feel the happiness from the couple.
