Since coming to the DC metro area, I have not had good buffalo wings. And this is a shame, because I love good buffalo wings. Can anyone recommend places in the area (first person to say Cluck U gets beaten). There must be somewhere in this town that actually crisps their wings and coats them with a tasty, spicy sauce. I think the ones at the Black Rooster (L St NW between 19th and 20th) are good, and half-price on Wednesday as I recall. They bread them rather than frying them bare, which may offend purists.

Breaded wings are rarely good, but can sometimes be okay. Usually breading is just gross, and ends up soggy in the sauce.

There is an excellent place that's main item on the menu are Bufalo Wings.. it's in Alexandria on Richmond Highway called Wing Zone http://www.wingzone.com/.. It is awesome a great place to get wings for the superbowl. hope you agree-

Chicken. Flour. Oil. Sauce.

This is it really.

I like Hooters wings and proudly take my mum there. But not my wife. She really doesn't get down like that.
