Okay, this is where I admit to a great tragedy on my part. I almost never go see live music. There's no particular reason, I just don't usually. Oh, I will go see the occasional local band here and there but usually, it is just because the place I want to be and the band is playing happen to be the same. But for real concerts? I can probably list

I'm sure i've also seen far less than the rest of our friends and, without putting a whole lot of thought into it, will just leave a cursory response here.

Favorite bands that i'm guaranteed to see every time they come close to town:
The Monkees
My Morning Jacket
Rilo Kiley

I have four favorite bands in total but the last i've seen live exactly never! The Magnetic Fields seems to hardly tour, and when they do it's in NYC only. Oh, i think they've left town a couple of times, but never come near here and are extremely hard to catch.

Social Distortion is one of my favorite live show memories and mostly that's because the venue was the best i've attended. Moshing & crowd surfing was allowed and i did it over & over.
White Stripes would indeed be awesome and recently my affection for Bowie has swelled...

see, i had two chances to go see Social D but both times became an "Ann and girlfriends" event, which meant I wasn't invited. Even asked to go once and got put off. Next chance? Effit! I'm going no matter what is said!!!

Uh, YEAH! She doesn't have to know! But she can't monopolize ALL the Social D on every visit!
