CJ's god awful music kept him awake for the drive back from North Carolina, but after dropping them off he is sure he makes it home on luck alone. He doesn't want to sleep, not particularly, but the body demands it and at least this time he makes it up the stairs before collapsing. But she moves ... and he stirs ... following her ... his mind speaks her name ... his lips only mumble.
"..er ..." and he rolls over, still asleep, burrowing his face in his pillow, his body following the movement in his mind. Chasing her. "Heath ..." he mumbles again, his face still planted in the pillow.

"Jethro," she says. The gentleness she might've shown him a moment ago is gone, no matter how hard she tries to pretend everything is fine. But she's not yelling at him, either. Go home, Jenny.
