i don't think he plays an instrument either... he definitely played football this past fall (my brother's on the team) so he wasn't in the triton marching band. how do they know who to send recruitment letters to anyway?

on part of the application to Umass, there's a section that asks if you're interested in musical ensembles and stuff. It doesn't really specify as to what instrument (or lack thereof) one plays, but still. We sent out over 1000.... soooo yeah.
