I've decided I really enjoy the name Tristan. Here's a little poll - boy's name or girl's name? What do you see it as more?

A boy at my college was named Tristan.

But be careful-some country folk (like my vocal coach) called him TristAN. Beats me...I dunno.

And by the way, at last shift, I was winking at YOU, not David...

When I hear the name Tristan, I think of this kid I knew back around the days of high school, who used to be heavily into the computer field and laughed like a madman at the most inane things. I still think he's one of the more interesting people I've met, and I associate the name with an area of interest as well.
