I'm feeling severely disconnected from everyone, it sucks. So a few minutes ago while reading the Gamecube discussion amongst my friends, I decided to draw something as an excuse to post in my journal. I finished penciling and then inking my next comic strip, but it still needs to be colored; so it looks like all I have is a half assed superman

First off, there's no reason to feel disconnected, as there is nary a person who IS connected these days. Not a single one of us shares the same state as any other, so, it's not like you're missing the party or anything. Secondly, do you really need an excuse to post something? I mean, you're in a different state, starting school for the first time (or the first time seriously at any rate) so pretty much every thing you do is a story no one else has heard yet. Write that shit down. Third, the line shading on that madre is looking pretty tight. It makes it look like there's a bright spotlight shining in his face, which while not something you should do to every drawing, is a nice trick to have in your bag and gives a pretty dramatic effect. Nice. I've been trying to work on my shading recently too. Come on though dude, you've got plenty of room for hands, a cape, and at least part of the legs, and I know you can draw them, so finish it! Draw more and post more, as this is the only place I'm gonna see what you're doing (unless
