Minor changes to archive categories!

Hey everyone! I just wanted to mention that I've spent the last week sorting out redundancies in the archive, as well as alphabetising pairings for both ease of navigation and to limit those redundancies in the first place. Yes, I know, I'm crazy and pedantic ( Read more... )

Also, in cases where categories for [character], [character] (comics), and [character] (animated) existed, [character] (comics) has been resorted as [character].

Okay, one BIG problem with this that I didn't realize at first. You see, that pattern usually existed because, originally, the catagories were *not* split as animated vs. comics. And while, in some cases, the comics character may be the default and/or most common in the beginning, in other cases....it's REALLY REALLY not. Check under Wally West, now, if you don't believe me--it's about 3/4 animated.

Why does it matter if there are more in the animated category? Could you rephrase? I don't understand the problem.

She means that sorting the Wally West (Comics) into just Wally West would be a problem, because the majority there should really be in Wally West (Animated). The same problem exists with John/Wally, it should be marked Animated if we're using comics as default.

Oh, okay. Well, I'm using Wally West as being an implied (comics). It doesn't matter that there are more (animated), because over-all, comics are the default. It's like in math, where '1's are always implied. You may have a lot of 2x, but 1x is still just called x (and that is a lame and patronising analogy; my apologies).

I'm going to go through the pairings and change them to (animated) where needed, because even before my fiddling around, they often weren't indicated.

Okay so I read this fic not long ago I don't remember much but basiclly Robin has been kidnapped by Harley Quinn ( and possibly joker ) batman is somewhere with joker so Dick decides to seduce harley but he is under age by either a year or a few weeks he also can't keep it up and is in semi denial about being gay harley approaches him at one point in only a thong , it also joker/batman batman/joker and that's the main pairing , at one
Point all four are in the Batcave and that's the last chapter batman tells harley Robin is underage , possibly batman and joker hook up I think I read it on Archiveofourown or fanfic , the exact sentance ' Robin gulped ' or ' Dick gulped ' shows up after Harley aprouches him in the thong , harley and joker have only a semi abusive relationship and are possibly friends and he likes her as a friend ? I don't know it was great when I read it and I want to again if you can find it that would be great sorry if this is in the wrong spot I didn't know where to put the question
