oh thank God. I'm sorry she still feels down and isn't already better, but I'm so happy that it is something that can be dealt with!

That's a relief! Not that Hep A is great to have, but it's better than some of the alternatives. I'm glad to hear she's sounding better already.

I have no doubt that she got it from something she ate. I remember there was a 3-year period during which St. Louis went through multiple Hep A outbreaks where they would come on the news and say that anybody who ate at Restaurant X during time period Y needed to see a doctor.

I'm glad she's going to be ok!

Yay! (relatively speaking)

My mom had Hep A when she was a kid, and came out of it unscathed. She can't donate blood or organs, but other than that, it was painful and icky, but fine in the long run.

Good luck to mom and your fam, and SO glad it wasn't something more serious!
