I have a question for everyone. Do you think that even if you've done bad things, you can be a good person? How do you decide if someone's a good person or a bad person?

Absolutely, even the kindest person makes mistakes and we must forgive them when they realize this, dear. I believe it depends if they can keep a human heart or not.

It sounds like people's hearts are real important.

How do you know if you have a good heart?

A bad person wants to hurt people, because they can.

I think that's how you can tell. Good people, even if they hurt someone else, usually it's because they feel they have to, not because they know they can.

So if someone hurt a lot of people, but they felt really bad 'cause they really wanted to help them even though they couldn't, that person is probably a good person?

I think everyone's said what I would have told you. But a good person who has done bad things can't always be a good person in the end...

What caused you to ask, luv?

I wanted to show someone that people can be good even if they've done bad things.

[ And up you go, into her arms with a little bounce! ]

And they ought to be thoroughly convinced now that you've gone through all this trouble!

Yes, sometimes good people do very bad things. What matters is if you try to do good things still. A bad person does bad things because it's fun to them or because they want to destroy things. Sometimes they realize the things they're doing are bad things and they just don't care, sometimes they're insane and don't.

A good person may do bad things or have done many bad things in their past but they still try to do good things. They feel bad about the things they've done and want to help make it right. They may slip up and do bad things again, everyone does, but in the end they care about people other then themselves.

So if you felt bad when you did something bad, you're definitely not bad?

That and if you try not to do more bad things. If you show remorse and try to do good after that, you're not a bad person at heart.
