So my grandmother's husband died this morning. Clint was a great guy, funny to boot, and he tried very hard to be a second/third grandfather to us kids. The problem is I never got to know him because my grandmother wanted to travel with him while they were both still healthy enough to do it ( Read more... )

maybe... have someone you know take really good notes on the final... and as for the people at the funeral... just realize that nobody's perfect and try to just go there and do your thing.. if they approach you or anything just be cool and keep the tensions down. Maybe they'll be on their best behavior considering the atmosphere and inappropriateness.. Although that's never stopped MY extended family.

yes you are missing a vital class, but maybe if you explain to your professor you can ask for some time after class or something to go over what you missed, or ask a fellow student for help.

I spoke with the proff today. She's perfectly willing to let me get her notes later, but the problem becomes that she assigned multiple papers today. One is due friday, one monday, and I knew about the one that's due tuesday. ARGH!

hey, im sorry, that really sucks. im not good at reassuring words though, although i am i good person to have listen to problems. so i cant think of much to say, besides what the rest has already said.

Are we still on for friday? or do you need to wait until next week? you know, an afternoon with rachel is good for the soul :) (im starting to get a ego like you btw)
