I am studying youth baseball in Japan, sort of a spin-off of my thesis. Where do you want to go for a Fulbright (which I highly recommend btw). Some places/programs only accept recent graduates though, so do some research!

i wanted to go to taiwan to study women's health and attitudes surrounding it. i think taiwan accepts mostly grad students (haha as the culture would dictate)... but i'll look into it.

sounds interesting. However, if I remember correctly, students are not allowed to apply to countries they have lived in before. Not sure what the exact date requirement is but I know I was not allowed to apply for Taiwan and my friend who was born in Japan but lived in America since she was a child was not allowed to apply for Japan. You might want to look into that.

heh Dan, thanks for the compliment about the video, I really appreciate it. I am studying youth baseball in Japan, so it does not directly relate to the video, but I am hoping to use the experiences I got from filming to help me this year. Basically my Fulbright is a spin-off of m thesis, which is derived from my film. How are you doing Dan? What are your plans for next year?
