Tim? What.. [Jason pauses, and considers what he just heard. He does a little experience with alternate universes. Just not very much.] So, I should also assume you're not my Tim, right?
[Moriarty is exceptionally pleased to hear a Jason say "my Tim". Which means Jason gets a genuine smile rather than a false, polite one.]

[Jason is actually somewhat weirded out by a genuine smile, since his Tim is rather damaged. Still pleased to see a Tim happy, though]...I see. That's going to a problem. [grimaces] I don't like the idea of leaving Tim alone for an unknown period of time.
There are people who can travel between universes at will, they might be able to help you. Time also moves differently in the Hub, when you return, it might be that hardly any time has passed at all.
That not exist in your... universe? dimension? [Jay shakes his head] Anyway, the foundation- We do urban renewal, sort of. [He pauses again. He's never had to explain it to anyone, and is somewhat lost for words.] Tim came up with it, when he was young and terrifying. We do crisis response, community policing, early education, gang interventions... basically any social service the city's slipping on.
[Tim listens carefully, his expression neutral] You knew your Tim when he was young?
[he's silent for a moment, trying to decide how to word the next bit] My Jason and I are... similarly focused on helping the people of Gotham. However, we go about it in quite a different way.
He bullied his parents into adopting me after the bat broke my hand. [Waves his right hand, which is encased in a molded plastic brace from knuckles to mid-forearm, and visibly deformed] Tim is scary when he wants something.
[Jay brightens visibly at that statement] Nice to some things carry over. What's your angle?
[Tim's expression goes very dark] Bruce did that to you? If I ever figure out how to travel between universes I am coming to yours to kill him.
[He takes a deep breath, and the expression shifts to one that's a little sheepish] Jason and I are, well, the most accurate description would be "crime lords".
ah...[Jason didn't, actually, know Batman's identity. But he's a smart boy] You know the the bat's identity? [the look on Jay's face avoids being 'unholy glee' only by effort] Mind sharing?
[Jason isn't that surprised] My Tim runs the shadowy side of things in the foundation too. He's good at scary.
Bruce Wayne. I'm surprised your Tim doesn't know. [not-very-nice smile (but it's not directed at Jason)] Feel free to ruin Bruce's life.
Scary can definitely be advantageous. [Tim makes a bit of a face before asking:] You said that Tim's parents adopted you, does that mean you're brothers...?
depends. What do you mean by 'a robin'? The species exists, but I doubt that's what you're talking about.
[coughs, trying to hiding how disturbed he is by that] my Tim's asexual, to all evidence. Just... Gah, I do not want to picture my little brother having sex.
