Tim and fear are two scents that Jason hates to smell together. He crouches down far enough away not to make the kitten feel trapped. "What happened, kiddo?"

{Wolfie Jason! Kitten slinks closer to reach for a hug.] There was a scary man so I ran away.

Jason pulls Tim into a hug. "He didn't hurt you did he?"

[neko_tim]

[He shakes his head, burying his face in Jason's neck and clings] I ran away too fast.

Jason hugs Tim tight, petting his hair softly. "Smart boy. Better that you don't get into fights with scary people."

[neko_tim]

That's what Daddy says too. [He nuzzles close] And Dickie. I'm not good at fighting like Dickie and JJ.

[bad_wolf_in_red]

"You're younger than they are. You'll be just as good when you're their age." Jason stands up cradling Tim in his arms. "Let's get you back to those brothers of yours. I bet they miss you."

[neko_tim]

[Kitten snuggles close, his arms around Jason's neck.] I hope so. I want to be strong like them. I want to help Daddy with the bad guys like they do.

[He nods.] Can you take me back to the hotel? Please?

"You will be someday. Probably sooner than you think." Jason starts walking towards the hotel, Tim cuddled close to him.

[neko_tim]

[Tim purrs softly, loving how strong and safe Jason is.] Not for a while. I'm only 18. I won't be a big cat for a few years yet. And ever then I won't be as strong as Dick or JJ. Dick's a tiger and JJ's an alley cat. I'm just a little house cat. I won't grow so big.

"You don't have to be big and strong to win a fight you just have to be smarter. And you're plenty smart, kiddo." Jason supresses a groan once they get to the hotel, the place reeks of pheremones to his sensative nose.

[neko_tim]

[Kitten paws at Jason's shoulder worriedly] Are you okay, Jason?

[bad_wolf_in_red]

"I'm fine, kiddo. Got a good sense of smell and this place really smells like you and your brothers." He carries Tim to the door to their suite. "You got a key or do we knock?"

[neko_tim]

Do we smell bad to you? [Kitten pulls a key on a chain out from under his shirt and lets them in.] Dickie and JJ don't like the way the elves smell but I like it lots.

[bad_wolf_in_red]

"It's not a bad smell, just pheremones." He has to fight the instinct to take a deep breath to see if the other nekos are around. "Is anyone home? I don't want to leave you by yourself?"

[neko_tim]

[Kitten sniffs the air delicately.] Just me. JJ hasn't been home in a while and Dick was here with Tim but he's gone now.

[He pets Jason's shirt fretfully.] You don't have to stay if we smell too strong. It's okay, I'm safe now. [But kitten's scent is suggesting he could stay for other reasons if he wanted to.]
