Connor strokes Jack's cheek, kissing him softly. "You deserve to love and be loved. I'm glad I could help heal your heart."

You bring hope, my golden prince, to every life you touch. I'm sure I'm not the only one in the Hub who's heart you've mended.

"I can only hope I've done more good than harm. Hearts aren't as easily mended and flesh and bone."

[He looks at Connor questioningly.] Is there someone you're worried you've hurt?

[archer_in_green]

"Have I told you about Kitten, and his brothers? I suppose it is silly, to want them to like me, to be my friends. Kitten likes us well enough but his brothers... I always seem to say or do the wrong thing."

[whitechapelred]

The Nekos? I've heard of them but I've yet to meet them. [He cards his fingers gently through Connor's hair.] How so?

"They're nice." Connor sighs. "Our scent is like a drug to them. I know I should stay away, but everytime I see them I want to reach out and... They're so passionate and lost, and I'm being foolish."

You want to give them love and hope. There's nothing foolish about that. [Jack pulls him into a gentle kiss, stroking his cheek.] You are giving and I love you for that. I'm sorry things aren't as easy with them.

{{OOC: But Tiger so wants to give himself over to Hawke. Utterly and totally. Every time! That bracelet is his most prized possession.}}

"It just feels foolish to want to change something that cannot be changed. I am as I am and they are as they are, and that is what keeps us apart. I have many friends here, and they do too, there isn't need for me to bother them." Connor wraps his arms around Jack's waist, cuddling closer.

[Jack holds Connor tight, nuzzling his ear.] What you are is beautiful, love. So, so beautiful. And I'm sorry it keep you from them. [He strokes a hand down Connor's back, wrapping a leg around his to keep him close and warm.] I could talk to them for you? If that would help?

"Do not worry about it. Kitten is a good friend to us even if his brothers must stay away. It will sort itself out and I have you to keep my heart from being to heavy."

"I love you dearly, Jack."

I make it my life's pursuit to keep your heart from getting too heavy. [Jack whispers playfully.] I hope you'll let me share the load where I can.

I love you ardently, Connor. [Jack leans in to kiss him again.]

Connor lets himself melt into the kiss. Being with Jack makes his heart flutter like a new-made butterfly, and he would hardly guess that winter raged outside their door. He nips softly at Jack's lip. "I would share everything with you."

[Jack moans softly at the little bites, caressing the shell of Hawke's ear.] My heart, my head, my dreams and my bed. All yours.

Connor purred his hands sliding down between them. "I like your bed."
