"Really? I always thought you pulled it off well... I wore it once when I was 13... and immediately designed pants." He grins and Jason. "My legs really couldn't compare to yours."
And mine ain't shit compared to Dick's but Bruce wanted me looking like Robin. You're lucky he let you look different. [He keeps watching Tim, spinning him around a little to look him over.]
"Well. Dick. I don't think anyone pulled this costume off like Dick did." He laughs as Jason circles him, turning his head to watch him. "You he wanted to be like Dick... me he wanted to be different."
"We were all different." He blushes slightly and closes his eyes, leaning into the touch. "Just because Bruce didn't realise... we all left our mark..."
Yeah, but none of that matters any more. We left the masks behind. [He pulls Tim close, not kissing him so much as breathing his air.] We're safe here. We don't have to be that anymore.
He gasps, and grins shakily as he looks up at Jason. "We don't have to be anything anymore... just... just us. Whatever we want." He kind of has to keep reminding himself of that as he reaches to cup Jason's face in his hands. "Just us."
Just us. [He cups the back of Tim's head and pulls him close, hugging him tight.] Just us. We can just... live. [the thought still confuses and scares the hell out of him too, afraid it might go away like a bubble bursting.] Just... stay with me, okay?
"I'm with you... as much as I can." He smiles weakly, he's been doing really good at staying in the moment, but he knows very well he could wake up tomorrow and forget the last year for the day. "I'd rather be with you than somewhere else?"
Hopefully with this place, you'll be able to be with me more often. [He moves to shift Tim towards the wall, covering him as he always does on the streets.] And when you're not, I'll try to bring you back. [Even through he's terrified Tim will forget who he is one day.]
[Jason runs his fingers through Tim's hair, resting his chin on the top of Tim's head.] It scares me that something might happen to you when I'm not there to protect you.
[He runs his hand down Tim's sides, toying with the sweep of the cape.] Is it wrong that I almost miss this thing?
Nar, it'll do. [He teases a little. Here is the best place they can be right now.]
[Jason chuckles and flicks the cape to make it flutter.] Yeah, yeah it was. Knew what I was doing back then. Knew it was right, right down to my bones. Miss that certainty.
Well, those are some very bare legs all of a sudden, hello original flavour Robin costume. "...Well. This is... nostalgic."

"It was very dramatic... mine was a lot longer and heavier... it was fun jumping from rooftops with it?"
