Guitar Hero isn't dead yet

With the release date of Rock Band drawing closer, many people are starting to muse that this will mean the end of the Guitar Hero franchise, due to competition from a "superior" rhythm game. Your fourth paragraph is faulty. Just because whatever metal band uses two kick drums on the kit instead of one doesn't mean they can't just re-sound it for the game.

All this Rock Band stuff is uninteresting to me because it already happened seven, eight years ago. I tried to get into Guitar Hero but I couldn't do it (songs weren't fun/new/good, old concept).

I more used that for support of 'not being excited about it'. I'm sure it feels different for sure but it's not BRAND NEW, right?

I was talking to Craig on MSN about it and I've told you before too, until I see something more appealing in RB's track list I am not in for a lack of interest in song selection. I barely have the motivation to play IIDX let alone another music game.

The info says they sped up the non-boss parts, ff to the middle for the boss
