Bass growled, kicking in the front of his couch. The sudden bang sent his cat for refuge under the kitchen table; the robot wolf Treble was well used to his owner's moods, and continued sleeping. Bass turned about with a snarl, balling his fists.
The table lamp sailed through the broken window of his apartment, ricocheting off someone's car hood outside.
Bass flopped down on the couch, cursing loudly. His helmet was tugged off and thrown across the room, where it bounced twice before smacking into the opposite wall. He hung his head in his hands, clutching at his hair.
"Stupid... idiot!!" He stomped his foot, sending a tremble through the floor. "I should just... hunt him down!" An angry snort, and he let his arms drop to his lap.
"I don't believe you don't remember ME!"
"Well... are we friends?"
"...Yes. We're friends."
"RAAAAARGH!!"
Allegro retreated further into the legs of the kitchen chairs, watching the robot rise from the couch and pace around angrily. Bass glared at the floor with nearly enough force to light it ablaze. "Stupid... Fucking... Kaito!!"
"Jeez you're grumpy! Why are we friends anyway?"
"Because--!! ......Because you're the only one that ever gave a DAMN about me."
A knock on the doorframe caught Bass' attention and he stopped short, his head snapping up. A piece of paper was now visibly attached to the wall outside and he stormed over, snatching it from its place.
EVICTION NOTICE
TENANT Bass HAS THREE DAYS TO REMOVE ALL PERSONAL ITEMS FROM THE PREMISES
Another angry cry rocked the beaten and battered apartment. Bass balled up the paper and threw it to the floor as violently as possible before marching off to his bedroom.
When the door slammed shut, a white tophat toppled off its place hanging off the corner of Bass's computer desk, hitting the floor and rolling out of sight.
