Ty Lee laughed, clapping her hands. "That was great! Do it again!"

Kaito obligingly reached over to a sullen-looking Azula, pulling a second rose out from behind her ear. "You're a regular garden, Azu-baka!"

"Funny," the princess dead-panned, then suddenly rose from her chair. "I think I'll go wait outside until Kaito leaves."

"Awww, come on, Azula!" Ty Lee pouted, grabbing for her arm (Azula dodged). "We were having fun!"

"You were having fun," Azula corrected. "I was getting roses pulled out from behind my ears."

"Which was fun," Kaito couldn't help but adding, earning a glare from Azula.

"I have better things to do," she said airly, turning to leave-- and not seeing the hurt look on Ty Lee's face.

"We were just having fun," she repeated sadly. "I didn't want her to go..." Kaito looked at her for a few moments, then jumped up and ran out into the hallway after Azula.

"Hey, Azu-b-- hey, Azula!" he called. "Wait!" She began to purposefully walk faster. Kaito caught up with her anyway. "You're not really mad at Ty Lee, are you?"

Azula rolled her eyes. "Of course not. I'm just not in the mood to be treated like a toy. Besides, spending time with you isn't exactly my idea of fun. I'll go back when you've gone home."

Kaito persisted, walking alongside her now, much to Azula's consternation. "Maybe you should go back now! She looked kind of upset."

Azula slowed. "Upset? Over such a small-- oh, for goodness' sake. ... She wasn't crying, was she?"

"No, but she was doing this little pout..."

She grimaced. "With the lower lip?"

"That's the one."

Azula huffed slightly. "Fine. But if you so much as look in my direction--"

"Thanks, Azu-baka! She'll appreciate it!" In one quick movement, Kaito reached behind her ear for a third time, thrusting the resulting flower into her hands. "And that's a token of my appreciation!" He hurried down the hallway ahead of her, very glad for the fact that Azula probably wouldn't want to risk starting a fire so near her girlfriend's room.

When Azula followed Kaito into the room, Ty Lee's face lit up. "You're not mad!"

"Of course not," Azula said dismissively. "I never was. But he won't be bothering me anymore. You two can make your own 'fun'." She threw herself down in a chair with a sigh, leaning back and closing her eyes.

Ty Lee leaned over to Kaito. "How'd you get her to come back?" she said quietly.

Kaito winked. "Magic."
