So when someone knocked on the door, she dived behind the desk, waiting until the door had opened. The footsteps were heavy, so she peeked up over the edge, smiling as she saw Zack there.
"You're here!" she stood quickly, making her way over to him excitedly. "Are you're ready for the beach?" she asked with a big smile, all set to go as well, wearing the swim suit she had gotten under her dress.

The moment she came within reach he caught her by the waist and pulled her close, kissing her happily. The single day they'd spent hiding out in Healin because of the virus hadn't been nearly enough time for him to enjoy having her near.
"I'm ready to go if you are," he said when he pulled away again, his grin softening into a smile.

Aerith returned his kiss, smiling back as he pulled away. "All ready! Is the coast clear?" she peeked around him but didn't hear anyone else nearby.

He reached for her hand, tangling his fingers with hers as they walked. "There's this gorgeous cove if we walk down the beach a ways," he told her. "We shouldn't run into anybody there. You up to the walk?" He grinned again. "I suppose I could always carry you piggy-back."
