Well shit, hell, I don't know. My life is still stupid as hell and I still kinda wish I was dead. Can't get much worse, can't get much better. I think now might be the time to make a bunch of insanely poor life choices and suffer the consequences, or at least see where it gets me. Life can always get better. Maybe you're just in a really bad rut. You're not really all that tied down. Well, we are not that close and I don't know the details of where you are at in your life, but you're young, unmarried, pretty healthy. why not consider making some huge drastic change? You can always move, or take a job overseas or do something small like buying a new pet or something. If you feel trapped, change something. You're an adult, you don't have to ask anyone's permission.

you should have reconsidered your advice after acknowledging that you dont know Dany very well. fact is, you can't always get up and move just because you're young and single, and i don't think she was asking for anyone's permission. LJ is a great place for airing one's concerns and emotion honestly. After browsing the trivial shit you complain about in your own journal I'm wondering why you would minimize someone elses personal issues.

One of the reasons I don't comment on my friends' things is because LJ changed the friends page layout to be total garbage a few years ago. I felt compelled to get on while at work today and actually go to the pages of all my friends. Most of them quit posting long long long ago but some of us are still here. I'm sorry for not being an active participant in our digital friendship and I wish I'd seen this when it was fresh ( ... )
