i always worried about that when i had to quit max and ermas....but you realize that its pointless and you are replaceable. dont sell yourself short to help out someone else....i missed out on a LOT of money at my new job, by staying at my old one.
I would be polite about it becuase in a time of need Coney WILL take you back, and if you need it, then you want that option. I know that my bosses wife was making 150 in tips a night working the counter at coney and when she went to the Outback she only made about 80... I would just say keep your options open. It doesnt have to be a 2 week notice, but something would be better then nothing.
