In a lot of the western world we have a strong tradition of overreaction sometimes. Such as the ban on all Canadian beef due to one isolated case of an infirm cow with mad cow disease. If I remember correctly Japan did the same thing when a case or two was discovered in the US. We have really good health standards here, all in all.
I wish I had a juicer, but it prolly wouldn't get used. We have one of those things that dries stuff out to make jerky and raisins and other such crap and I don't think it got used more than once.
