Today after work, while I was finishing up some shopping for stocking stuffers I was thanked for my service by a very nice woman in her early 60's. At first I had forgot that I was in uniform and was going to ask "how did you know that I serve". I gladly extended my hand and said thank you back to the woman who at this time was almost in tears.
