I did like the movie. (Personally, I rather fancy the Phantom. Although Gerard Butler is hideous in person.)

It sucks compared to the book (which I read before I saw the movie) but hell, I have yet to see a movie derived from a book that is ever as worthy as its inspiration.

What don't you like about it (besides the Phantom's...inferior singing)?

I'm not talking about the book. Have you seen the original musical? The musical with trained singers and not morons who prance about pretending that they actually have acting and singing skills. The musical with Michael Crawford with a voice that will break your heart and a stage presence that will take your breath away. Phantom of the Opera the movie was quite possibly the worst movie I have ever seen. It was flashy, that's about it. The acting was sub-par (if even) and, being familiar with actual singing and not wishy-washy breathy pop vocals, I thought that the vocals were simply horrid.

I did not expect the movie to be like the book at all, I expected it to be a more intimate version of the play (which is wonderful); it wasn't.

DAHAHA on ALL AP tests. AP English Lit is ridiculously easy...pick a book you like and write about it. AP Calc = hard though. Get ready for that. I took AP Psycho today and it was a freaking JOKE. 2 hours long at 12 PM.

I'm taking college calculus class so if I go to a UC I will definitely get credit (for whatever AB and BC gives)...but I think some private schools will be a different deal. In any case I'll take them next year if I have to soo...we shall see.

I wish my school had AP Psych :/
