Blessings, Curses, Benefices, Afflictions
Clerical Rank Philosophus (Priest): 9pts
Cash: 1pt (just enough to afford some tools and blank books to keep his notes and journals)
Protection 3pts: "Someone (or group of people) is looking
out for the character. The character may well owe his
protector something in return, but it is always helpful to be
a Charioteer with the backing of the local Hawkwoods, even
if he does have to fly them wherever they want to go.", leaning towards an official or several officials on de Moley.

Grease Monkey 4pts: +2 with all Tech Redemption skills
Innovative 2pts: +2 Tech when inventing something new
Protection 3pts: "Someone (or group of people) is looking
out for the character. The character may well owe his
protector something in return, but it is always helpful to be
a Charioteer with the backing of the local Hawkwoods, even
if he does have to fly them wherever they want to go.", possibly either a noble patron or guild collaborator.

Dark Secret +2pts or +1 pt: Believer/practitioner of the Worldshaper Heresy, creator and user of proscribed tech. Not sure if this counts as a 1 or 2 pointer.
Burns and scars +2pts: Torso covered in burns from inquisition. Also, body has some scarring due to self mortification, and a major accident with terraforming equipment early in his life.

Vow of Celibacy +1pt

Debating Vow of Poverty. I'm planning on him leading a specifically not materialistic/spartan life, but I'm not sure if that would prevent him from possessing the tools necessary to do his job.

I dropped volt redemption, because I assumed our Vis Craft party member would be focusing on that skill, and replaced it with some mech redemption.
