When I read the title I wondered just why you would attend a Beet fest.;) Until I started reading of course(would make the switch "feet best" though*g*).
Sounds fun,good music,beer,did I mention good music? O;)
(so did that guy fall between the lions or...?*g*)
I saw them four years ago or so in Sweden at the Malmö festival. I know them because I know the dark electronic genre pretty well *g* They were good :P
Also, yay beer! And am I correct that you live in Belgium now? Because my hubby and I like to vacation in Antwerp. We are beer enthusiasts and we luuuurve Belgian beer and go there just for that :P And for the atmosphere, I think they have a very international but at the same time very relaxed atmosphere. And also it's kind of southern, even though it's not *that* south but it does have that air to it :P
When we go to Belgium the next time we must meet :P
Laibach is one of the first music I ever listened to - my parents are big fans so it kind of stuck with me through all of my phases :) And yes, they were good - as always. Very professionally done too. And I knew you'd appreciate them :) As well as the beer, hee!
As for Belgium, I used to live in Brussels, now I'm in Belgrade. But my dad's staying in Bxl for another year probably, so I'll be visiting - and if we match up there, we're definitely meeting :)
The cuts are the most annoying thing in LJ. Аlmost each time I try to do them, they go wrong again and again, and if you listen between the lines of my entries, you can hear me swearing out loud :D
I wanted to blog earlier, but a friend of mine was staying with me for a few days.
Real friends so evilly tend to go in the way of the 'imaginary' ones ;):D
Oh, and she drew a wonderful Cheshire Cat on my bedroom wall.
You must have very liberal parents if they don't mind drawings on the wall :) I'd like to see it
So some guy, high on Dutch courage, made a bet he could walk on the wall above the lion cage. And lost.
Maybe that doesn't say a good thing about me and humanity overall, but undoubtedly, that's the most interesting part of the story ;):P
Everybody listens to Laibach, obviously me has to TOO!
And everybody likes Belgian beer... high time for me to try it too :P
I edited like 4 times before I gave up on the cut. Argh. And I will listen between the lines next time you post something with a cut ;)
Agreed about real friends - I recently noticed my real life is getting in the way of the internet life. Damn these modern times :P
And I do have VERY liberal parents. A bit too liberal of certain people's liking ;) But I'll post the pics soon.
And honestly, I laughed my butt off at the guy who fell into the lion cage. I mean it's horrible, but for gods sake - if you're drunk and smoked the way he was - do NOT (I repeat, do not) walk narrow walls with wild beasts waiting for you.
I must admit I didn't like beer all that much before Belgium, but plenty of places simply don't serve anything else. I'm still a pretty lousy drinker though :P

Yeah, Darko Rundek also played, if you know :)
Oh, and the guy did fall into the zoo. Horrible, but not surprising, really...
