Then it's totally absurd. WhyTH lesbians would want only other lesbains to discuss and think better about tolerance?
Of course, whatever the theme, it would have been silly and unfair. I'm sorry that they cut you off, but on the other hand, it looks like it actually wasn't what you would want to be a part of :P
Here this year's Pride Parade went on peacefully, but mainly because they were no more than 300 people, guarded by at least 150 police officers.
I watched the video you've linked and it's scary indeed :/
Well to be honest to those people, they did say that it's more of a problem that I'm from Belgrade than because I'm straight. But still, if anyone tried to pull it off in reverse, they'd get sued right away.
That's probably what the Gay Pride is gonna look here (if we don't get our heads smashed in), except it's going to be 30 people with 100 cops :)
During a music festival in South Serbia, called Gucha, a black French woman was kicked out of the tent. Put your fears to rest though, they apologized. "We thought she was a Gypsy." Phew, just when I thought they were racist...
*sporfle* Now you're just abusing sarcasm! XD
But otherwise, my goodness, it would be funny if it wasn't so tragic :( What the hell is that crap about sexuality being a private matter? Don't we get heterosexuality thrown in our face and stuffed down our throats EVERY FREAKING TIME WE TURN ON THE TV??
Haha, about the sarcasm - I'm only half-abusing it. It really isn't considered racism here if Roma people are mistreated. Sort of like they-had-it-coming. And then they wonder why we don't get more tourists ;)
I might even have some respect for the mayor's opinion if he wasn't playing Sarkozy here. Latest statement says he can't come to the Parade (other than him being so modest) is because it's a sunday, and that's quality time with kids. Lulz
