I broke down and installed Yahoo Messenger - you can reach me at edecond on there if need be.

I won't be installing AIM. Ever.

OK do I dare ask why you are not going to get AIM? You might be the only one on the planet rejecting this kind of human interaction.

I also don't like the beetles, Elvis, or anything else that everybody is gaga over - I'm just contrary like that =)

Seriously, I don't like the marketing info it collects and distributes, and have not figured out a way to prevent AIM from sending it out.

I was against the AIM machine myself for a while, but then there was the beauty of, "Oh... I can be invisible and only talk to the people I want to." or I don't have to log in.

You don't have to install the software to use any of them.

Set up your account(s) and you can use Gchat (Which now works with AIM) and you can talk to your Google friends and AIM friends... or you can use meebo.com and use ALL of them without ever having to install anything.

If you want to install a software, I'd recommend Trillian if you're on a PC.

You can find all my accounts on my website. But realistically, I am mostly just on Google and AIM. (And I still don't install anything)

Now there is a thought, I'll check out Trillian - Thanks!
