What does Armored As Worn mean?

From the Pennsic site:
Heavy Rapier round robin tournament. Armour worn will count for what protection the MIC deems. Metal plate is proof against cuts and thrusts. Fencing helms will only be vulnerable to thrusts to the face. Hardened leather protects against cuts as does Chain maile. Visible plastic or aluminium will not be counted as protection for this tournament though you can still wear it if it is part of your legal SCA Rapier armor.

Basically, it means I get to wear my "heavy" armor, and fight rapier in it, and have it count as armor during the tourney. Shots to my knees will not count for instance (since they are "plate"). I'm looking forward to this tourney =)

I think I've scheduled myself to be with HRM at that point in the day. Have to check, as soon as I restore my main machine.
