Christine had been busy, picking up extra shifts in Sickbay in order to cover for her coworkers who had suddenly found themselves looking after small children, or had suddenly become small children themselves. But she had missed her breakfasts with De, and she was curious about how Spock was adjusting to life on the Enterprise. Hopefully she'd been able to overcome her fears about poisonings and kidnappings, at least.

So when she found herself with a free afternoon, Christine made her way to the actors' suite, and rang the doorchime.

The door opened and Christine entered, spotting De instantly. "De," she said, walking over and enveloping him in a hug. "I've missed you, dear."

She pulled away and glanced around the room. Spock was sitting quietly in the corner. She had a book open on her lap, but she'd looked up and was now watching Christine, an (unsurprisingly) indecipherable expression on her face.

"Hello, Spock," Christine said, smiling. "How are you?"
