Hello- I'm not stamped in Booklisters yet, so I didn't know if I could respond to your question about De Lint recommendations there or not. I am not a fan of fantasy per se, but have read two De Lint books for reading groups, and have enjoyed them immensely. I particularly admire his ability to tell a tale that involves "the land of faerie" in modern times, and how these two worlds meet. Frankly, part of the reason I enjoyed them so much was that they captured a little part of my childhood, and made me remember how much imagination I had when I was little.
