Gabriel hadn't been specific or particular when he agreed to some food with Deacon. Which was fine, since that gave Deacon the freedom to get whatever he fancied at that particular moment. "Hello to you, as well! Sorry - I couldn't resist doing the shoulder tap bit. I'm.. a bit of a prankster, so every opportunity I get, even to do something small, I have to take it." He laughed, giving a light-hearted shrug.

"Come on, through here," he said, getting up and leading the way to the small back room where he normally ate his lunches, and he left the box on his work table. He quickly cleared the table off of the days paper and a book, gesturing to him that he could take a seat.
"Right, a prankster, great," he laughed softly, and then looked around, wrinkling his nose. "Did you bring anything to drink? Or, I might have something."

He looked to him with a shake of his head. Opening the bag, he pulled out two beers. It might have been in the afternoon, but Deacon never needed an excuse to have a drink. He then held up a finger and, from the messenger bag slung across his shoulder, pulled out a bottle of Plum Wine, then two glasses. Followed by two bottles of water.
"Wasn't quite sure which you preferred, so I thought I'd bring a variety."
