cold enough for ya? hyuck hyuck

yes, yes it is. not much by way of news. baby doc sez we're at 50/50 chance of calling a c-section. everything else is fine, bebe is just, of course, getting bigger and bigger. id rather mel not have to go into surgery, but scheduled sugery would be preferable to emergency.

besides laundry, everything is shaping up at ( Read more... )

I concur, this season sucked. The mercurial motivations made me seasick. Everyone changed ethos at least once an episode (except Ando and Hiro). I expect this kind of crap in a daytime soap opera, but even those have clearly defined good guys and bad guys.

yeah, the best and worst part of hiro and ando's story was that were stuck to the side and the writers safely let us know that nothing they did had any relevance to the plot. until the last minute of course, and really, not even then.

file under still dont get it: hiro tore the formula in two, thus... having the formula on two strips of paper that can be easily aligned, as they were when the story first started. how about cramming it your mouth and swallowing?

jan 9. official weigh in on thursday, and were told we'll go from there. it was an interesting visit, as he basically told us hey, in case you didnt know, baby makin aint an exact science, and all of this could go out the window at the drop of a hat.

Now hold on there... we can't be having your baby's birthday party a day after Seth's birthday party. Mel must deliver a week earlier or later!

Tell her to get right on that.

Continued psychic blessings for the baby.

The time thing. It's true that an object moving faster than the speed of light moves backwards in time. But it doesn't work in reverse. There was no way for her to get back. Flash at least fakes its way around it by having Flash cut through the speed dimension, which exists in all times.

There was tons of dumb.

My personal moment of horror? Unmeltable bullet-proof Lexan. They heat it up, and a bullet still doesn't break it, but a ninety pound girl does.

Like you, I could go on and on. President Worf. That's all I'm saying.

They should have just done the Wild Card books as a series. Then they would have at least had some really well designed structure to work from, instead of randomly lifting Chris Claremont plots and then making them dumber than Chris Claremont did. That's a hell of an achievement.

i keep hitting reply, and it keeps adding my comments below.

and i thought i was being generous with matt's theory, or 'he equals dizzy chick squared'. but thats what i said, if you want to say that zippy moving faster than light, requiring an infinite amount of energy i, or ando, might add, will propel her back in time, i have problems with her arrival point, sans calculations, the fact that im not sure where she ran 'to', meaning around the world in a frictionless loop, etc. but even if you give them that, no way's she getting back in a second without exiting the galaxy.

eh, ok im done.

I hope no c-section is necessary. However, I understand that they are not all that bad anymore.

While I haven't watched last night's episode yet, I haven't held out much hope. I stay just for the Hiro & Ando's storyline and that's about it.
