i'm gonna retire dead_archduke
i was looking at my old old entries and they're just so embarrassing and immature.
i'll be switching to ghostcarousel so if you haven't added me there, do so.

i just can't connect to this thing anymore. i had it in seventh grade. jesus i was quite different then.

i know what you mean, i keep meaning to move too. i have deleted most of the embarrassing entries but anything before 2007 was a bit stupid really. i'll probably look back on my entries now in two years and think i was stupid.

I don't understand why people tend to feel they've "outgrown" their livejournals and need new ones. No, I am in no way the same person I was when I began this journal three and a half years ago--but I was she at one point and I think it's important to keep ties to who I was and the path I took to become who I am now.

i find it easier to just make all those older entries private. of course, i've also paid for a name change of my journal, so have ties to it in more ways than one, i believe.
