Um, Metallica are that band who every says are the "fathers of thrash metal", and shockingly, yes, they are.
They were rated as a fucking fantastic thrash metal band, and yes, they are a fucking fantastic thrash metal band.
I have this theory that you just don't like thrash metal. That don't mean 'tallica are over-rated :P
