Ok, so I've being paying a lot of attention to the campaign lately and as the innocent bystander that I am (being unable to vote) I've noticed something quite puzzling ( Read more... )

I suppose you're right, I guess I just got lost on a train of thought. At least, I hope that's the case. If not, I think things are headed for trouble.

First of all, you cannot assume that ammerica functions as one coherent being without contradiction. America doesn't function as a single entity, it works more like a chimera. It has multiple heads which (ussally) act to moderate each of the heads different extremes. The conflict is the improvement in the system because without it the tower topples. However in times of dire need the unimportant squabling falls away and then additional power is allowed to one of the heads. This happens rarly, but you'll notice in all of the important wars America becomes much more effective ( ... )
