Oscar wondered how to pretend to eat a hot dog and feed it to the pigeons, instead -- who by now had the constitution of little goats with wings, and would one day, Oscar was sure of it, take over the world, along with cockroaches, and Tupperware.

Ha!

*wipes away tears of laughter*

That gave me so many weird mental images I think I'm going to have bad dreams tonight.

*adopts Malo immediately*

I am Molly Weasley and I shall not be denied! This boy does NOT belong to such horrible parents!

I adore Oscar carrying Portia away. It is so both of them.

It was disconcerting talking to Malo, because talking to Malo was rather like talking to a tiny, costumed midget wearing a Félix mask, and it made Oscar feel old and uncomfortable.

*chokes in fit of repressed giggles trying not to laugh out loud at work*

Brilliant.

Loved how good Felix was with Malo. And their mom not even knowing Malo was gone. And:

...he had become very comfortable with being uncomfortable around children.

*cheers for the continued excellence of the story as the wordcount mounts!*

You're just like me without the subconscious death wish.

Wanting to eat a Real New York Hot Dog isn't a subconscious death wish?
